The use of illegal drugs and the abuse of alcohol on the campus of The Art Institute of Houston or in facilities controlled by The Art Institute of Houston are prohibited by college regulations and are incompatible with The Art Institute of Houston goal of providing a healthy educational environment for students, faculty, staff and guests. The following information is provided in compliance with the Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act Amendments of 1989.

Employees and Students are prohibited from the unlawful manufacture, distribution, possession, or uses of illicit drugs or alcohol. This prohibition applies while on the property of the school or when participating in any institutional activity. Students or employees who violate this policy will be subject to disciplinary action up to and including expulsion from or termination of employment.
